 Festival Of Thrift production meeting 1:

For this project, we will be working on the Festival of Thrift fashion show on the 25th and 26th of September. 

We were given an assignment brief in advance explaining the theme of the show, the style of makeup we will need to create, information about lighting and possible weather conditions and an idea of the kind of clothes the models could be wearing. 

We were also what we needed to produce in time for the first meeting to present to the rest of the class. This is important for us to do as by gathering up everyone’s ideas, we will be able to discuss which design(s) are best suited for this event, and how we can develop them from there. We needed to create a moodboard of our initial ideas for the hair and makeup, as well as a face chart and design for our makeup and hair ideas. The face chart will be created from different products ranging from makeup to coloured pencils and pens to give the design a realistic look. The design will be created in our sketchbooks, giving an in-depth look at our ideas alongside explanations of the products we will be using and how we will make these work.

On the 13th of September, we all first presented our ideas and discussed them as a group.

During this meeting, we all agreed to use a graphic eyeliner as it was easier to adjust to each model's eye shape.
