 The Witches production meeting 4:

To start off this meeting, we had agreed to use our time to make a start on some of the face charts we needed. Once we had delegated each character face chart to one another, we began working on them.

Paige began the Grand High Witch mask design, Francesca did the Grand House Witch makeup design, Isobel did straight witch makeup and mice design, Emily did a bald cap design (since we had decided to add boils to make them appear much more revolting).

I started off by creating the face chart for the Grandma. Since it would be for theatre, I would need to show how dark the lines might need to be, as well as where to place the wrinkles. That way, whilst doing the makeup, if I’m not sure what I need to do next, I can look at the face chart and get back on track as soon as possible.
