The Witches production meeting 7:

To begin the meeting, we delegated tasks that need to be done sooner rather than later.
Francesca worked on Isobel, practicing the glamorous makeup for the Grand House Witch and Paige got back to work on the Grand House Witches mask. It is important to get these done so that Francesca knows how long it will take her to complete the makeup as well as how well the colours work from a distance. It is important for Paige to complete the mask as soon as possible as it is crucial we have the time to check how the mask looks in the theatre, under certain lighting, from far away as well as up close and how well it fits both of the actors.
Kassie and Emily finished up working on the schedule and sorcerer out call card for the actors. This is important as it helps to keep us all organised during the days of the shows so that both the actors and us know what’s happening and when. This will also help keep a clear working space by having only a small group of people in at once for both health and safety purposes as well as allowing us to be able to have enough space as we need at all times.
Whilst everyone else was busy working on their tasks, Leah, Isobel and I kept working on as many face charts that needed done as possible. Leah and Isobel finished the maid, lawyer, Bruno and waitress, whereas I finished the face charts for Mr Jenkins, the doctor, the doorman, head waiter, waiter, head chef and second chef. It was important for us to complete these face charts as we all need to know what makeup we will be doing, year ones especially. It is also important for us to keep the face charts out on display whilst we are working as it will show the actor the makeup they will be wearing, and can discuss any concerns with us if needs be. I also discussed with everyone else the moustache that will be applied to Mr Jenkins as I wasn’t too sure whether to include on the face chart a straight moustache or a styled, curvy one. We decided on a straight moustache.
