group meeting (sheet) - Talked about ideas for what mine could be for (comic-con)
Was going to make ear moulds, need to do ear cast (explain)
Went to work on blog for a bit instead
Got ear casting sheets (show)
Got to work on the sketchbooks page for that (add pics)
Sorted out mould things for Monday

To start this week off, we all discussed whether or not the budget was complete, to which it was decided to

wait until a couple of other people, who weren't present at the time, made sure they had added everything

they needed. Then , I was given ideas for what my own project could potentially be about, to which I settled

with ‘Comic-Con ideas’, as this is most fitting considering my ideas are based around game characters, and

comic-con is an event for character Cosplayers (someone who dresses up as a certain character/characters).

Then, I had decided to make moulds of my models ear to be able to create the elf ears for the Fairy character

as I wanted them to be as realistic as possible, as well as fit the models ear. I was given a few step-by-step

instruction sheets for how to prep and make the moulds.

The images above show the step by step tutorial sheet I was given to help me achieve the ear castings.

However, to be able to make the moulds, I would need to gather everything on the list of materials.

casts.

As well as having someone there to overlook the procedure for both health and safety reasons as well as

making sure it goes smoothly, therefore I decided to gather most of the materials today, ready for making the

moulds next week as I didn’t have all of the materials on hand and would need to go out and collect these

beforehand.

Therefore, in the meantime, I got to work on creating a page in my sketchbook about ear casting, including the

materials I need and how to make them as this will help me retain the information better.

On Wednesday, we had our group meeting. During this, we discussed the budget once again. We went round

the group asking if everyone had definitely written down everything they needed (that could be included in the

budget) as it needed to be finished as soon as possible to make sure everyone gets what they need on time.

However, since there were a few people absent, we had no way of confirming whether or not they needed to

add/take away anything else before it was finalised.

After this I got started on my project proposal, which has been uploaded as another post on my blog. The

project proposal consists of what I plan to do over the remaining weeks, my initial ideas/my process and how

I plan to present my final ideas.

Then, for the majority of the rest of the day, I just continued to work on my blog, adding/editing posts.
